The new design of the type 2 AC vehicle connector has been developed based on the IEC 62196 for the European market. Convenient handling is ensured by using high-quality materials and, in particular, the handling area consisting of two components. The locking controlled by the vehicle inlet via an actuator bolt prevents the vehicle connector from being pulled under load. This provides maximum safety and reliability during the charging process.
